Paynters have trusted Bridgeman with countless stainless scopes on a variety of large scale projects for over 8 years.
In July 2019, the tier one construction company awarded Bridgeman the new Emergency Department Stage 1B Expansion project. This was not the first time Bridgeman had worked on Caboolture Hospital, in 2018 completing the trade package for the Main Building and Medical Imaging wing which meant the Bridgeman team were already familiar with the site requirements for this project.
Bridgeman were tasked with delivering over 60 corner guards, as well as 2 utility benches and 2 utility sinks in high quality stainless 316 for the laboratory flushing room. After getting this the scope underway without a hitch, a variation was added to supply a suite of stainless bump rails. The quote sign off, fabrication and installation all happened within a week, with the attention of detail to change the design to match the existing bump rails in surrounding zones.
The project has attracted industry recognition winning Best Health Facility (under $20 million) in the QMBA Regional Awards. Qld Health are happy with the outcome, protecting the walls from trolley damage. Paynters are currently briefing Bridgeman on the next project to continue their successful partnership.
“I contracted Bridgeman to supply and install some additional stainless steel crash rails at the hospital for a twofold reason. The first being that the works were issued very late in the project as a variation to the contract and the subcontractor who had been installing the other crash rails could not produce them in time for the hand over. Secondly, I knew from previous experience that Bridgeman had the ability and the capability of turning around what is a relatively small project by their standards in a quick time frame.
As expected, Bridgeman did not let me down, and managed to fabricate, supply and install the stainless steel crash rails ahead of the hand over of the 1st stage of the refurbishment. The quality was very good given the quick turnaround, and the installers were very efficient and easy to deal with, and worked into the project seamlessly. I would not hesitate to use Bridgeman again. I have worked with them on several occasions over the past ten years or more, and I would definitely engage them again. I would highly recommend them for their professional approach to projects and their quality finishes.”
