As the Principal Contractor, Evans Built engaged Bridgeman to deliver the new industrial-style kitchen – one that would cater to student hospitality classes and provide a functional, hygienic and low-maintenance space.
The perfect fit for the job, Bridgeman stepped into design, manufacture and install all stainless furniture required for the impressive 190m2 learning facility. This included stainless steel benchtops, sinks, splashbacks, cooktops and even mobile benches for easy reconfiguration, repurposing and opportunities for increased space.
The 6-month project, completed in December 2019, has been well-received by the school and the local community. Through maintaining open lines of communication and close collaboration with other trades, the Bridgeman team ensured the industrial kitchen was created and finalised on time, with minimal fuss.
The end result – more space for the students to learn and create, student facilities that live up to the school’s reputation for innovation in learning and a best-in-class industrial kitchen that would be the envy of many professional kitchens and restaurants.
