Waterline Park, Queens Wharf

Waterline Park, Queens Wharf

For the Waterline Park project at Queens Wharf, Bridgeman was engaged to fabricate and supply 370 lineal metres of F1 Fixed Balustrade, 270 lineal metres of F2 Fixed and Collapsible Balustrade, and 35 lineal metres of F3 Fixed Heritage Balustrade. The scope required precision fabrication for installation in a marine environment along the Brisbane River, where durability and resistance to corrosion were critical considerations. Bridgeman worked closely with the client to develop a complete modular system, ensuring the balustrades could be fabricated to the highest quality standards and then efficiently assembled and installed onsite with minimal disruption. A standout feature of the project is the incorporation of a collapsible balustrade design, developed specifically to mitigate potential damage during peak river flooding.

The combination of durability, adaptability, and design excellence positions this project as an outstanding example of stainless-steel fabrication and its positive impact on the environment. The finished product has become a feature item along the riverwalk at Queens Wharf, enhancing both the functionality and the aesthetic appeal of this landmark public space.
